PETALING JAYA: The Education Ministry will look into a fire which affected the SMK Balai Ringin’s staff room and administrative block in Sarawak on Saturday (Jan 8).

       “I was informed of the fire which involved the school's staff room and administration block this morning. I paid a visit to this school during my visit to Sri Aman last year," said Education Minister Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin.

       “Thankfully no casualties were reported in the incident,” he added in a Facebook post on Saturday.

       Radzi said that the ministry would be getting a complete report regarding the losses suffered by the school.

       “We will strive to do our best for SMK Balai Ringin,” he added.

       The 41-second video which accompanied Radzi’s post, showed part of the school engulfed in flames with firemen trying to put out the fire.
