JOHOR BARU: Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar visited flood victims in Tangkak and Batu Pahat, and handed over personal donations.

On his official Facebook page Saturday (Jan 8), Sultan Ibrahim visited the temporary relief centre (PPS) in SK Telok Rimba, Tangkak, that houses 87 victims from 21 families.

The Ruler then visited SJK (C) Pei Eng, which houses 134 people from 34 families, also in Tangkak.

The Ruler proceeded to visit PPS SMK Yong Peng, Batu Pahat, which houses 54 people from 18 families.

Sultan Ibrahim was accompanied by his sons, Tunku Panglima Johor Tunku Abdul Rahman Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Ibrahim and Putera Johor Tunku Abu Bakar Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Ibrahim.

He also contributed fried chicken meal packs to flood victims through the Sultan Ibrahim Johor Foundation (YSIJ) in collaboration with QSR Brands (M) Holdings Bhd.

Sultan Ibrahim had personally driven to flood-hit districts, namely Segamat, Tangkak, Muar, Batu Pahat, and Kota Tinggi since the deluge hit the state on Jan 1.

Aside from handing out aid, he had also checked on the facilities provided at the PPS for the victims.
