Three men have been arrested after a Sunday afternoon shooting in Alexandria, Va., that left a bystander hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

       According to police, two of the men opened fire from the parking lot of a 7-Eleven on South Reynolds Street, aiming at the occupant of a parked car nearby. One bullet hit a 26-year-old woman, who was taken by another witness to a hospital. She is in stable but life-threatening condition, according to police.

       The three men were arrested by patrol officers as they drove away from the scene. Alexandria residents Maurice Turner, 18, and Donovan Copeland, 20, and Fairfax County resident Damonte Martin, 21, are all in custody and accused of malicious wounding by mob, along with other charges, authorities said. Attorneys for the three men did not immediately return requests for comment.
