AMPANG: A senior judge who is being investigated for alleged sexual harassment had lodged a counter report in December against the woman who is accusing him.

       The counter report stated that the report lodged by the woman, who claimed that he lay naked on a bed at her home in August 2020, was false.

       Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Farouk Eshak said the report was lodged by the judge a few days after the woman lodged her police report.

       "At this time, we are investigating further by calling up witnesses who might have more information that could assist the investigation.

       "We have recorded the statement of the woman as well as other witnesses but I cannot elaborate further as it could disrupt the investigation," he said when contacted on Wednesday (Jan 12).

       He said police are exploring all angles in the investigation.

       It was reported earlier that investigations into the alleged sexual harassment by a senior judge here is still underway.

       "Yes, the matter is still under investigation," ACP Mohamad Farouk said when contacted on Tuesday (Jan 11).
