A COUPLE from Kampung Pengkalan Cicar, Bukit Kuang, Terengganu, has been rescuing cats in the last 30 years and are willing to pawn their gold to care for their feline pets, Kosmo! reported.
Retired lorry driver Rusli Ibrahim, 66, and his wife Masnun Sufeno, 60, are still rescuing stray cats in Kemaman, Terengganu, till this day.
“The number of strays we brought home began to increase and we now have 70 cats,” Rusli said.
He said most of the cats were either sick or maimed and were treated at the veterinary clinic before they were brought home.
The couple have been spending almost RM2,000 a month on their feline friends.
Rusli said although his six children helped them out, there were times when he had to pawn gold jewellery to maintain the cats.
> Many were shocked at seeing local actress Natasha Hudson’s new look after she uploaded photographs and a video on Instagram without a head scarf, Utusan Malaysia reported.
The post showed the actress engaging in surfing activities in Kuantan.
She is also seen without a tudung while supporting the Monsoon Wavescape Festival at Pantai Pelindung.
In her post, Natasha is seen wearing a loose white T-shirt and a black hat while enjoying the beach.
She, however, muted the comment section of the post and had yet to make a statement on her new look.
The actress in the local movie Chermin first donned the head scarf in 2012 and even wore a veil in 2016.
She stopped wearing the veil after getting permission from her fourth husband.
