PETALING JAYA: There were 2,342 new Covid-19 infections reported in Malaysia on Monday (Jan 17), says the Health Ministry.

       Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah says this brings the cumulative total number of infections in the country to 2,810,669 cases since the pandemic began.

       He added that a more detailed breakdown of Monday's daily infections would be uploaded to the Health Ministry's CovidNow portal at midnight.

       Pada 17 Januari 2022, jumlah kes COVID-19 yang dilaporkan adalah 2,342 kes menjadikan jumlah kumulatif sebanyak 2,810,689 kes.
