JOHOR BARU: The Johor State Assembly has been officially dissolved, says Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad.

       He said this comes following his audience with Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar at Istana Bukit Serene here at around 5pm.

       “I want a fresh mandate from the people,” he said in a press conference following the audience at Johor Umno headquarters here on Saturday (Jan 22).

       Hasni also added that state speaker Suhaizan Kayat would inform the Election Commission (EC) about the dissolution of the Johor State Assembly.
