A FAMILY have been sleeping downstairs in the cold after an unfinished plastering job left cracks in the walls of their home.
Jane Guest, a disabled woman with three children who lives in Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire, revealed that the issue has been ongoing for more than three years.

The family home has been left absolutely freezing from the "one-inch cracks" in the walls of the hallway, stairs, and landing and the large gaps around the windows and doors.
Jane initially contacted Lincolnshire Housing Partnership (LHP) four years ago to report structural damage to the brickwork of her home.
She claims that the workmen who were sent to her property just plastered over the brickwork instead of actually fixing the structural damage.
The workers returned a second time but haven't been back since to complete the job.
Jane said that further work was scheduled for January 24 this year, but she is "still waiting" as it was cancelled at the last minute.
Jane told Grimsby Live: "It's affecting mine and my daughter's health. We're both asthmatic and all the dust and cold air that's coming into the property and off the walls is giving us chest infections. It's not just that but it's mental health issues as well."

Jane also suffers from arthritis and hypermobility, so when it's cold she can't walk properly or even get upstairs.
She continued: "I'm putting the heating on but when I look at the thermometer that's attached to the thermostat upstairs, it says 14.5 degrees.
"I've got an electric fire downstairs which is just about keeping me and the children warm.
"You may as well just sleep outside!"
Jane added that she has called the housing partnership many times over the last few years but it is a constant battle.
She was also told that there was "no reason" for the family to move out of the property when she requested to move house.
A spokesperson from Lincolnshire Housing Partnership commented: "We continue to work with the customer on the issues that have been raised. We're very keen to find a resolution to these issues, and on our teams' most recent visit to the property, a list of outstanding works was agreed with the customer.
“We're currently awaiting confirmation from our suppliers on when these works can start, and we encourage the customer to cooperate with us in facilitating access to the property throughout the process so that the works can be completed in a timely manner.
“Since our visit to the property, the customer has raised further issues, which our teams are currently processing. We continue to communicate frequently and openly with the customer to keep them updated on all steps of the agreed works and to allay any concerns they may have.”
