Police have arrested an 18-year-old Bowie man in the shooting death of Eugene Kelly Gray one month ago in Prince George’s County, police said.

       Nekole Sanders has been charged with murder and is being held in the county jail with no bond.

       Sanders is accused of gunning down Gray just before 8 p.m. on Jan. 9 in the 15400 block of Empress Way in Bowie, police said. Detectives said the men knew each other, but authorities are still investigating a motive for the shooting.

       Bowie police responded to the initial shooting report, but Prince George’s County police then took over the investigation. The county handles all homicides in the city.
