Keeping M’sians connected ‘all-ways’

       KUALA LUMPUR: Maxis Bhd has unveiled its new “Rangkaian Kita, Rangkaian Malaysia” (RKRM) slogan to reinforce and deepen its “Always Be Ahead” brand to help Malaysians stay constantly connected in every possible way.

       In a statement yesterday, Maxis said RKRM was a campaign driven by Maxis’ evolution from a mobile telecommunications provider to a connectivity and digital solutions expert that offered solutions for every segment powered by its 4G network and fibre coverage, as well as the 5G innovation.

       “For over two decades as a homegrown Malaysian brand, our continuous investments and collaboration have resulted in a strong network of communities and the most extensive converged network in the country.

       “The spirit of RKRM is about celebrating diversity and Maxis will continue to serve people and communities based on each of their unique requirements,” said Maxis chief executive officer Gokhan Ogut.

       “Technology provides opportunities to people from all walks of life, sparking change for the better. When all Malaysians are connected in ‘all-ways’, then digital innovation happens and we want to elevate our role in empowering this innovation,” he said.

       He added that as the nation embraced real-time digital reality, Maxis aimed to continue being a trusted provider of connectivity and converged solutions to consistently deliver the best to its customers by striving towards building and strengthening its rangkaian (network).

       The telco said it was driven to serve all Malaysians across diverse communities based on their respective and unique requirements, undergirded by Maxis’ commitment to investing in the nation for more than 25 years through substantial investments in network, people and communities.

       RKRM is anchored on three core pillars, namely anytime, anywhere connections for all; widest range of digital solutions and capabilities; and expert support round the clock.

       In offering a deeper dive into the new brand campaign, Maxis chief marketing officer Loh Keh Jiat explained: “We are excited about this journey that Maxis is taking and we are just at the beginning.

       “Over the years, we have seen a shift in behaviour as a result of physical and digital worlds evolving into a true hybrid, with different communities having different needs.“Converged connectivity is no longer a ‘nice-to-have’ but is now a critical necessity, and providers are expected to offer more than just either a mobile or a fixed connection in order for work, study and life to be uninterrupted.

       “RKRM is an important representation of this new reality and reaffirmation of our commitment to everyone in Malaysia,” he added.

       He said as Maxis forged ahead with its growth, it would reach out to more Malaysian communities and prepare them to face the challenges and opportunities to come.

       “We are here to help people and the nation to ‘Always Be Ahead’ and this goes back to converged connectivity, with Maxis continuing to serve different communities with different needs. Based on those needs, we’ll continue to roll out new products,” said Loh.
