Chad Dee — one of his 30 grandchildren — said: “Yorkshire Tea was his preferred brand. He’d buy 1,200 bags at a time.”
Chad, 28, said even when Leslie was forced to spend more time at home after a hip replacement in 2019, his family would ensure the tea flowed.
He said: “Grandad was a joker. He’d sometimes cough and go, ‘Oh my throat’s dry’, just so that we’d make him a cuppa!”

Up to 150 people attended the funeral on January 28.
