KLANG: The newly formed Parti Bangsa Malaysia will also be contesting in the upcoming Johor state election.
It's Information chief Zakaria Abdul Hamid said, in a statement Thursday (Feb 10), that the party would be contesting two seats in the March 12 polls.
"Parti Bangsa Malaysia will announce the seats it will be contesting and the names of the candidates before the Feb 26 nomination day," he added.
According to Zakaria, the Johor state polls was the best platform for the party to introduce its "Great Reset 2030" agenda, which includes six main trusts.
The agenda's main trusts were strengthening racial unity, increasing youth involvement, empowering women, national economic development, increasing mastery of science and technology and improving the quality of education in Malaysia.
"We hope to be able to give a good fight to the other political parties that will be contesting in the state election with the aim of strengthening Johor's democratic aspirations," he added.
