Her Majesty is understood to be triple vaccinated.

She received her first jab more than a year ago, according to Buckingham Palace.

A royal source said it was administered in January, 2021 by a household doctor at Windsor Castle.

In a chat to chiefs overseeing the vaccine rollout, she said of her injection: “It was very quick, and I’ve had lots of letters from people who’ve been surprised by how easy it was to get the vaccine.”

Two months later, the Queen joined millions of other Brits in receiving her second Covid jab.

She was given the shot ahead of her first public appearance in five months in March, 2021.

A source said at the time: “Given the Queen has decided to make a public appearance so close to 12 weeks after the announcement of receiving her first vaccine it is clear she has already had her second."

Which vaccine did The Queen get?

Officials at Buckingham Palace haven't disclose which vaccines the Queen received.

Although not confirmed, it is believed that her initial dose was made by Oxford-AstraZeneca.

She previously praised the UK's vaccine rollout, calling it "remarkable".

The Queen said: “Once you’ve had the vaccine, you have a feeling of, you know, you’re protected, which is I think very important.

“I think it is remarkable how quickly the whole thing has been done and so many people have had the vaccine already.”

It remains unclear which of the COVID-19 vaccines the Queen received for her other two jabs.

How is the queen doing and where is she today?

Her Majesty is suffering minor cold-like symptoms after contracting the virus.

Officials say she will "continue to receive medical attention" from her team of royal physicians.

The Queen is expected to remain at Windsor Castle while she recovers from coronavirus.

Buckingham Palace said: "Her Majesty is experiencing mild cold-like symptoms but expects to continue light duties at Windsor over the coming week."

Brits who develop coronavirus symptoms are asked to notify those they have been in contact with in the previous 48 hours.

The Queen can out of isolation if she tests negative on day five and day six and does not have a temperature.
