ACTRESS Michelle Ye has received much praise online for bringing her 102-year-old grandfather across China for a holiday in spite of her busy work schedule, reported China Press.
The 42-year-old Chinese artiste shared photos of their visit to Hangzhou, Tiananmen Square and the Great Wall of China on social media recently.
According to Ye, the vacation was to help her grandfather get over the death of his wife who passed away last year.
Internet users were touched by Ye’s actions, many of whom praised her for being a caring and loving granddaughter.
One of Ye’s photos showed the two having fun playing Chinese chess.
“I don’t want to live anymore! Grandpa is already 102 and can still beat me!” she wrote.
Ye started her acting career in 1999 after signing with Hong Kong broadcaster TVB.
Ye, who was reportedly raised by her grandparents, is best known for her roles in drama series such as Eternal Happiness, Triumph in the Skies and Lost in the Chamber of Love.

The 13-second video showed the influencer, who goes by the handle Natty Slim on TikTok, beginning her dance in front of a paddy field.
Halfway into the video, she caught the attention of a buffalo in the background which immediately charged at her.
The video ended just as the woman was running away.
Uploaded on Feb 21, the video garnered more than 280,000 views in less than a day.
Despite the dangerous situation, many viewers commented on how funny the video was.
“The buffalo just wanted to join your dance.
“Why are you running away?” a netizen quipped.
