PETALING JAYA: MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has urged Johorians to back Barisan Nasional’s candidates.

       In a Facebook post, Dr Wee said that See Ann Giap, who is running for the Jementah state seat in the upcoming Johor election, is the best choice.

       "He is a true son of Jementah and a young entrepreneur. He is active in helping the community and holds important positions in community groups.

       "Ever since the spread of Covid-19, Ann Giap has led a group of volunteers to the ground to help those in need regardless of race, religion or background. I hope the voters will give the mandate to this Barisan Nasional candidate," he said.

       Dr Wee also urged Bekok voters to choose Tan Chong.

       "He very much understands the people there. Even though he has lost before, it did not break his spirit to continue helping the public earnestly.

       "This state election would be his third time contesting the Bekok seat. Without giving up, his fighting spirit is still strong and burning to win the people's mandate," Dr Wee said, adding that he would work hard to serve the people.
