A pedestrian was struck and killed Wednesday by a vehicle in Maryland.

       The incident happened about 6 a.m. along the 7100 block of Good Luck Road near the Capital Beltway in the Lanham area, according to Prince George’s County police. When officers arrived, they found a man in the road., and he was pronounced dead on the scene.

       Police did not release his identity, pending the notification of his family. The incident remains under investigation.
