A JUDGE in Tamil Nadu, India, was stabbed by a disgruntled peon who was refused a transfer, Malaysia Nanban reported.
P. Pandian, who is a circuit court judge in Salem city, was suddenly assaulted by an office worker of the court.
Bystanders and policeman managed to subdue the attacker and overpowered him before he could inflict life-threatening injuries.
During an interrogation, he spoke of being under a lot of stress after his transfer request was denied.
This had led to him to attack the judge.
Pandian sustained minor injuries.
