KUALA LUMPUR: A cyclist suffered light injuries after he collided into a car as he was riding downhill.
City Traffic Investigation and Enforcement chief Asst Comm Sarifudin Mohd Salleh said in a statement on Sunday (March 6) that a nine-second video of the incident had been uploaded on social media.
"The collision occurred Saturday morning at 10.11am along Jalan Nusa Bukit Tunku. A cyclist crashed into an MPV that was turning to the right as he was going downhill at speed," said ACP Sarifudin
"The 17-year-old cyclist suffered light injuries while the driver was uninjured. Both have presented themselves to the police at the Tun H.S Lee traffic police station," he said.
A video of the incident has gone viral showing the cyclist going downhill at speed while a car tries to enter a lane.
The cyclist fails to evade the car, crashing into it.
