Authorities in Fairfax County said they have arrested and charged a man in connection with a homicide that happened in February.

       Local police said Richard Kenneth Pearson IV, 31, of Falls Church, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the Feb. 21 slaying of Amaru Amin Shabazz, 37, of Leesburg.

       Officials alleged that Pearson shot Shabazz several times inside a home in Centreville. A warrant was obtained, and Pearson was found and arrested, police said. He is being held without bond, and it was not immediately clear if he had a lawyer.
