KUALA LUMPUR: Nik Hasanah Nik Mat, 81, the mother of Environment and Water Minister Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man passed away on Tuesday (March 15).

       Tuan Ibrahim posted about his mother’s passing on his Facebook page.

       According to the post, Tuan Ibrahim said his mother breathed her last around 6.30pm due to old age.

       "Please pray that all her sins be forgiven, (for her soul) be blessed, loved and placed among the pious,” he said.

       It is understood that Nik Hasanah, who was the sister of former Kelantan Menteri Besar Nik Aziz Nik Mat, died at her home in Kampung Batu Balai, Jerantut, Pahang.

       The funeral prayers will be performed at Batu Balai Mosque in Jerantut, Pahang at 10am on Wednesday (March 16) and the remains will be buried at Kampung Batu Balai cemetery.- Bernama
