KULAI: Police are looking for a male suspect who attempted to rob a jewellery shop in Senai town but failed.

       Kulai OCPD Supt Tok Beng Yeow said the incident took place on Tuesday (March 22) at 3.07pm.

       “The suspect had entered the premises and broke the display case with a hammer,’’ he said in a statement.

       Supt Tok said the suspect fled the scene when one of the female workers shouted at him.

       He said the suspect is believed to have fled the scene on a blue and white Yamaha LC 135 motorcycle.

       Supt Tok said the case was being investigated under Section 393 of the Penal Code.
