LUSAKA, March 22 (Xinhua) -- Zambia's Agricultural and Commercial Show, the country's main exhibition which could not be held in the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will be held this year, organizers said on Tuesday.
The 94th show will be held from July 27 to August 1 in Lusaka, the country's capital.
Duncan Mfula, the president of the Agricultural and Commercial Cooperative Society of Zambia, said the event will be held under strict COVID-19 regulations.
The theme for this year's event is "Innovation through Technology, Technology Transforms Businesses".
The official said at a press briefing that the organizers have so far received overwhelming response in terms of participation from both local and international exhibitors despite the two-year hiatus.
The event provides a unique and seasonal trading marketplace that attracts various economic players, several countries from around the world and numerous companies, he added.
