Perak cops probe case of children sticking out from car windows in viral video

       IPOH: A video clip of three small children, including two school uniform-wearing girls, sticking out from car windows of a moving car, has gone viral.

       The one-minute three-second video was found on the Inforoadblock Facebook page and is believed to have been taken on March 22 at about 6.30pm.

       The incident is said to have occurred along Jalan Tambun here.

       In a statement issued on Thursday (March 24), Perak police chief Comm Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said the Ipoh district police have received a report on the incident.

       Comm Mior Faridalathrash said the matter is being investigated under Section 336 of the Penal Code for acting negligently while endangering human life and Section 31(1)(A) of the Child Act for exposing a child under a person's care in a manner likely to cause physical or emotional injury.

       "The video, which shows three children sticking out from a moving car, caught our attention on Thursday.

       "The police are now looking for the individuals involved," he said.

       "Members of the public with information on the matter can contact senior investigating officer Asst Supt Yap Siew Cheng on 012-909 3362 to facilitate investigations," he added.
