SEREMBAN: The body of a man believed to have died four days ago was found in a drain along Jalan Tok Ungku near here.
Seremban OCPD ACP Nanda Maarof said a member of the public found the body while walking to a night market on Sunday (March 27).
"The man smelled a stench while walking along the main road and decided to check it out.
"He then found the man's remains in the four-foot-deep drain next to SMK Bukit Mewah and reported it to the authorities," he said in a statement.
ACP Nanda said the deceased had a collared shirt on and a vest with the word "Security" printed on it but was naked below the waist.
No identification documents were found on him.
He said the case has been classified as Sudden Death and the man's remains have been sent for post mortem to establish the cause of death.
