MELAKA: A four-year-old girl died after a concrete wall fell on her while she was playing at home in Kampung Bukit Bangla, Alor Gajah here.

       In the 7pm incident on Tuesday (April 12), Nur Iman Irdina was found in a pool of blood by her mother Aznynaqiah Mat Ali, 44, at the compound of the house.

       Alor Gajah OCPD Supt Arshad Ali said the victim's mother was preparing for the breaking of fast when the freak accident occurred.

       He said the mother heard a loud crash and rushed out from the kitchen, only to find her daughter lifeless.

       Supt Arshad said the victim's two other siblings were also playing outside but escaped unhurt.

       It was learnt that cracks appeared on the concrete wall of the house before it collapsed.
