KUALA LUMPUR: One of the two suspects being pursued by the police for attempting to snatch a woman's handphone has been arrested.
"The 32-year-old man, the pillion rider, was arrested at 3.30pm at the Sri Aman PPR in Jinjang Utara.
“The man has two prior police records and his accomplice is still at large," said Sentul OCPD Asst Comm Beh Eng Lai when contacted.

ACP Beh said the 26-year-old victim, a foreigner, was walking towards the Publika shopping centre with a friend when two men on a motorcycle rode past them.
“Suspicious of their actions, the victim started recording the two men before they circled back and tried to snatch her handphone.
"The woman held on to her phone and a struggle ensued, during which one of the suspects attacked her with a tree branch," he said.
It is believed that the suspects had catcalled both women before they started the recording.
