KOTA KINABALU: Sabah’s Covid-19 cases dropped on Saturday (April 23) after a spike on Friday (April 22).

Minister in charge of pandemic matters in Sabah, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said 65 new daily cases were recorded compared with 149 a day ago.

“We are now back to the ‘stable zone’ status,” he said in a statement Saturday.

He also said there were no additional cases of the new education cluster detected in Labuan.

Asked if there would be more numbers from this cluster expected in the next few days, he said “not likely for now”.

Out of the latest 65 new cases, 60 are patients under Category 1 and 2.
