PASIR GUDANG: Three teenagers were killed while another was seriously injured while racing on their motorcycles at Jalan Delima, Taman Kota Masai here.
Seri Alam OCPD Supt Mohd Sohaimi Ishak said that the incident, involving three motorcycles, took place at about 10.30pm on Friday (April 22).
"Initial investigations showed that the incident happened when the victims, including pillion riders, were competing among themselves.
"The motorcycles brushed against each other, causing the accident. Three victims were thrown to the left side of the road and another to the right,” he said in a statement here on Saturday (April 23).
He said that the three victims killed in the incident were between 15 and 16 years old, while the injured victim is 17.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

In a separate statement, Supt Mohd Sohaimi said the police have arrested two men between 21 and 22 years old over their dangerous motorcycle stunts.
"The two local men were arrested late Friday (April 22) at Jalan Kota Masai here after a viral video of them performing 'wheelie' stunts.
"The video was recorded last year and has recently gone viral on social media," he said.
