PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob broke his fast with settlers of the Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) from all over the country at his official residence in Seri Perdana here.

       Also present were Felda chairman Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh, Felda director-general Amiruddin Abdul Satar, FGV Holdings Bhd chairman Datuk Dzulkifli Abd Wahab and National Felda head of settlers Sulong Jamil Mohamed Shariff.

       Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Economy) Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed was also present.

       The event was attended by about 900 guests with 31 orphans from Rumah Amal Raudhatul Jannah, Banting, Selangor.

       Ismail Sabri also presented a business zakat mock cheque of FGV Holdings Bhd for RM33.57mil to 14 representatives of Islamic Religious Councils.

       Ismail Sabri later joined a congregation to perform maghrib, isyak and terawih prayers presided by Putra Mosque Imam Ahmad Termizi Zainudin on Monday (April 25). - Bernama
