PETALING JAYA: Keluarga Malaysia can expect toll-free travel and toll discounts of up to 50% for all vehicle classes when returning home for Hari Raya this weekend.
In a statement, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the free toll provision involves the PLUS Malaysia Berhad Group (PLUS) which connects the North-South highway network and Anih Berhad (ANIH) which connects the East Coast Highway (LPT).

Toll-free travel on the North-South Highway and LPT will also be given on May 7 and 8, and toll discounts of between 30% and 50% will be given for other highways on the same date and time to all vehicle classes.
“The move came after a negotiation session with 30 highway concessionaires.
“These free tolls and discounts involve 30 highways nationwide with a total discount enjoyed by users of RM77.11mil borne jointly by the government and the concession companies,” said the Prime Minister.
He said the government’s decision also takes into account the impact of the pandemic on most Malaysian families.
“I hope the provision of free tolls and toll discounts will further enliven the Hari Raya celebration with your loved ones,” he added.
The 50% toll discount includes the Shah Alam Expressway (Kesas), Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP), Cheras-Kajang Highway (GrandSaga), Sungai Besi Highway (Besraya), New Coastal Expressway (NPE), Ampang-KL Elevated Highway (Akleh), KL-Putrajaya Expressway (MEX) and Duta-Ulu Kelang Highway (DUKE).Meanwhile, the 30% discount includes the Flood Water and Tunnel Management Project (SMART), Guthrie Corridor Expressway, KL-Kuala Selangor Highway, Butterworth Outer Ring Road (LLB), Kemuning-Shah Alam Highway (LKSA), Kajang Ring Road (SILK), Sultan Abdul Halim Muad’zam Shah Bridge (JPP2), South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE), KL-West Traffic Dispersal Scheme Highway (SPRINT), Kajang-Seremban Highway (Lekas), New North Klang Straits Bypass (Grand Sepadu), Senai-Desaru Expressway (SDE) and West Coast Expressway (WCE).
