PETALING JAYA: It will no longer be compulsory to scan the MySejahtera QR code when entering premises beginning Sunday (May 1), says Khairy Jamaluddin.

The Health Minister, however, said users should activate the MySJ Trace function for contract tracing purposes.

“Those not allowed entry are individuals with a high risk status on their MySejahtera app, Covid-19 positive cases or individuals who have yet to complete their quarantines.

“Premise owners are also required to check the risk status of individuals on the MySejahtera app of patrons entering premises,” he said.

       More to come
