MELAKA: A total of 45 students from the Maahad Tahfiz Raudhatul Qubra school here received household essentials and a RM2,000 donation from Pantai Hospital Ayer Keroh (PHAK).
PHAK CEO Tan Yew Aik said that the donation was raised by doctors and other staff at the hospital.
“It’s heartwarming to see our staff embracing the spirit of giving during this Ramadan to help those in need,” he said.
PHAK director of nursing Sriyusni Yusup also spent her time in distributing the essential items to the centre.
“Ramadan is the time to share and we are pleased to lend a helping hand to those in need,” she added.
The tahfiz school at Duyong here provides shelter and free education to underprivileged male students aged from seven to 17.
