IPOH: A woman died and seven others were injured in an accident involving two vehicles in Sitiawan.

       A spokesman from the Perak Fire and Rescue Department said the department received a distress call at 5.32pm Thursday (April 28) about the accident near Kg Kayan.

       The accident involved a car and a four-wheel drive.

       There were four people in the car, including the deceased, her husband and two children while another four people were in the four-wheel drive.

       The injured have been sent to the hospital for treatment.
