KUALA LUMPUR: The issue of teachers appointed in June 2020 on a contract of service (CoS) basis that is expiring next month will be given due attention and resolved immediately, says Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin.

       The Education Minister said the concerns about the expiring CoS contracts were raised in the comments section on his social media accounts recently.

       “I have instructed this matter be given attention and resolved immediately. The Education Ministry and SPP (Education Service Commission) are taking appropriate action in accordance with existing rules and procedures,” he said in a post on his Facebook and Twitter accounts.

       Radzi said an announcement on the matter would be made once the process was completed, reported Bernama.
