GEORGE TOWN: Penang has submitted the names of individuals allegedly involved in the bullying of a houseman to the Health Ministry, says Dr Norlela Ariffin (pic).
The state health committee chairman said the names were from several departments, adding that Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin has responded to the information.
Khairy had said earlier that a special task force has been formed to look into the death of a houseman and allegations of a bullying culture in the medical fraternity.

The Minister said he had received the initial report from the houseman's head of department, while police are also wrapping up their investigation.
In a tweet on Friday, Khairy said an independent task force has been established to investigate the case and also the overall bullying culture.
Dr Norlela had called for a meeting of stakeholders to look into the issue which would first involve trainee and junior doctors.
She said health directors, deputy health directors, hospital directors and heads of department would be called up at a later stage.
"All the findings from these meetings will be sent to the Health Minister, including suggestions and solutions on how to fix the issue," said Norlela.
