KUALA LUMPUR: Nestcon Bhd's subsidiary Nestcon Builders Sdn Bhd has accepted a RM85mil contract from Greenverse Sdn Bhd for the construction of wastes recovery facility in Kerteh Biopolymer Park in Kemaman, Terengganu.

       The construction group said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia it would undertake the design, construction, completion and installation of the integrated offsite scheduled wastes recovery facility on part of Lot 4A, B and C, Phase 3 in Lot Q of the Kerteh Biopolymer Park.

       The overall contract period is 36 months from the date of commencement with handover date on July 17, 2025.

       "The acceptance of the letter of award by Nestcon Builders to undertake the Project is expected to contribute positively to the net assets per share, earnings per share and gearing of the Company for the financial year ending 31 December 2022 and throughout the duration of the Project," it said.
