       1. UK opens door to world’s top graduates

       Graduates from the world’s top universities, including Harvard and Yale, will be eligible for visas to work in Britain under a new post-Brexit immigration drive to “put ability and talent first”.

       On Monday, the Government will launch its “high potential individual” route to attract the “brightest and best” graduates from the world’s most prestigious overseas universities to come and work in the UK at the beginning of their careers. Read the full story.

       The public was warned on Sunday night against hosting unauthorised Platinum Jubilee street celebrations in a crackdown by "party killjoys".

       Carrie Johnson faces being summoned before MPs to explain a secret gathering on the Prime Minister’s birthday that was left out of the Sue Gray report.

       Parliament’s privileges committee, which is investigating whether Boris Johnson knowingly misled the Commons over "partygate", is set to consider making a request to his wife for evidence. Read the full story.

       4. Prince Harry and Meghan’s daughter, Lilibet, to meet the Queen

       Lilibet, the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, is expected to spend her first birthday meeting her namesake, the Queen, on the Platinum Jubilee weekend.

       The Duke and Duchess’s second child was born in the US and turns one on Saturday, when celebrations of the monarch’s 70-year reign will be in full swing across the country. Read the full story.

       5. Texas police face inquiry as Joe Biden pays respects

       Leaving the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Uvalde, Joe Biden was left in little doubt of the growing demand for Washington to act to curb gun violence.
