NEW DELHI, June 4 (Xinhua) -- At least eight people were killed and a number of others injured Saturday in a boiler blast inside a chemical factory in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, officials said.

       According to police, fire fighters and rescuers rushed to the spot to carry out rescue operations.

       Police have registered a case and ordered investigations into the blast.
