       HER pregnant granddaughter went out one night to get a massage as she often has body aches.

       “I did not think that she would not return home and only her lifeless body would be found,” said Zakiah Sulong, 68, reported Berita Harian.

       Her 26-year-old entrepreneur granddaughter was found dead inside her car on Saturday with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

       Police earlier said a 40-year-old man was detained in Pasir Mas to facilitate investigations under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

       Zawiah said her granddaughter, who was seven months’ pregnant, left the house in Pasir Mas, Kelantan at 8pm.

       She became alarmed when there was still no sign of her the next day, so she started looking for her.

       “I also contacted her mother who lives in Kampung Bechah Kelubi, Bukit Panau, but I was told that she wasn’t there.”

       Soon, a relative told Zawiah that her granddaughter’s car had been left by the roadside.

       “I rushed there and was shocked to find policemen and other people at the scene,” she said.

       Zawiah, upon seeing the lifeless body, recited a long prayer.

       She said her granddaughter, who had three children aged between three and 10, had never spoken of having any trouble with anyone.

       “I have accepted what has happened, but I have to be strong to continue to care for her children,” she added.

       Jasmin, who appeared in the drama series 7 Hari Mencintaiku 3, was admitted to Hospital Sungai Buloh after suffering a heart attack on Tuesday.
