KUALA LUMPUR: Reservoir Link Energy Bhd's subsidiary RL Sunseap Energy Sdn Bhd has secured two contracts for the development of solar rooftops.
In a statement, it said RL Sunseap Energy, with collaboration between Reservoir Link and Sunseap Energy (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has been contracted by Osram Opto Semiconductors (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd to develop solar rooftops in Kulim, Kedah, with a combined installed capacity of 7,708.6 kWp and export capacity of 6,285 kWac.
RL Sunseap Energy has also been contracted to perform the operations and maintenance of the solar photovoltaic system through the expected tenure of 25 years.
Meanwhile, RL Sunreap Energy also signed a rooftop solar supply agreement with PE Land (Penang) Sdn Bhd.
For this job, the company will design, construct, install, own, operate, and maintain a solar PV energy generating system with a DC capacity of 1971.2 kWp on the rooftop of Design Village Outlet Mall in Pulau Pinang.
According to the group, it has successfully secured four contracts to provide rooftop solar PV systems totalling 10MW to-date.
This translates to an estimated recurring revenue of more than RM80mil to be recognised over the course of the tenures.
