KOTA KINABALU: Sabah’s Covid-19 numbers continue to rise with 82 new cases on Tuesday (June 14).
Minister in charge of Covid-19 matters Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the latest infections saw an increase from 72 cases recorded on Monday (June 13).
"Out of the 82 new cases, 81 are under Category 1 and 2, and one under Category 3," he said.
Masidi also said the latest figures were only 5% from the total samples collected.
"With more samples collected, the number of positive cases is likely to go up," Masidi said during his daily Covid-19 briefing on Tuesday (June 14).
Overall, Sabah’s Covid-19 situation was considered under control, he added.
Out of the 27 districts under the state Health Department, 14 of them did not record any new cases.
