KOTA KINABALU: Sabah’s Covid-19 cases crossed three-figures on Friday (June 17), for the first time in over two months.
Minister in charge of Covid-19 matters in the state, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the latest number was now 115, an increase of 16 cases from Thursday’s (June 16) 99 cases.
The last time Sabah had over a hundred Covid-19 cases reported was on April 10, with 124 cases.
He said 112 out of the total latest figures were those under Category 1 and 2, while one case was recorded for Category 3, 4 and 5 respectively.
Meanwhile, Masidi said 12 out of the 27 districts under the Health Department did not record any new cases on Friday.
Kota Kinabalu tops the list at 41 cases, followed by Penampang and Putatan with 12 cases respectively.
No new clusters were reported.
