PETALING JAYA: The strong support of the Selangor, Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan governments is a key factor in the smooth running of the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic).
In recording a commemorative video for ECRL, the Transport Minister reserved a special shout-out to the four state governments for their involvement in facilitating the railway project.
“This morning, I took some time to record a few words for the East Coast Rail Link's upcoming planning milestone coffee table book and commemorative video.
“I especially thanked all the state governments involved - Selangor, Pahang, Terengganu, and Kelantan - for their vital roles in cooperating with the Ministry of Transport to put this important economic catalyst project on track to be completed in December 2026,” said Dr Wee in a Facebook post on Friday (June 17).
He also thanked the project owner, Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd, for their “tireless efforts and determination towards realising the ECRL project”.
