KUALA LUMPUR: Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd has exceeded its annual contract target after subsidiary Kerjaya Prospek (M} Sdn Bhd secured a RM154.68mil job from Bangsar Hill Park Development Sdn Bhd for the development of a proposed residential project.

       In a statement, the group said its year-to-date contract wins have reached RM1.3bil, which exceeds its target of RM1.2bil.

       "The contract also strengthens Kerjaya’s total outstanding order book to RM4.3bil, providing earnings visibility for the next five years," it said.

       According to the group, the contract is for the main building works of a proposed residential development project for one 39-storey block of apartments consisting of a common area, commercial unit, basement carpark and an eight-storey carpark.

       The project will commence on July 15, 2022, and is expected to be completed within 35 months.

       “Being able to surpass our initial target order book replenishment of RM1.2bil for 2022 in just six months is a testament of the market’s trust and confidence in our products and services, as well as our ability to secure new contracts despite the weak market sentiment.

       "Going forward, we have revised our target wins for the year to RM1.5 billion as we continue to leverage on our competitive strengths when tendering for new projects,” said Kerjaya Prospek CEO and executive director Tee Eng Tiong.
