A man was fatally shot Sunday night in Prince George’s County.

       The shooting happened in the 8200 block of Bellefonte Lane, not far from Route 5, in the Clinton area. Police officers responded to a shooting, and when they arrived, they found a man outside who was suffering from gunshot wounds.

       He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity was not released, pending notification of his family.

       Police said they are looking for a suspect or suspects and trying to determine a motive in the case.
