Update: Cloudflare’s latest status update says a fix has been implemented and the company is monitoring the results.
Cloudfare said it has identified an issue with its service and a fix is being implemented in a status update.
Earlier, the web performance and security company said it is investigating widespread issues which resulted in users experiencing timeouts or errors in accessing certain network or services.
Users on Twitter said the outage has affected popular sites such as Discord, Crunchyroll, Omegle, Social Blade and Epic Games. They also described how the issue has seemingly affected “half of the Internet”.
Locally, the issue has affected several news portals.
According to TechCrunch, Cloudflare also suffered an outage affecting users in India, Indonesia and Eastern Europe last week.
