Five people were left injured Friday night when someone opened fire in the 1600 block of West Howard Street, Chicago police said.
According to police, about 11:40 p.m., an argument ensued between a group standing on the sidewalk and unknown offenders who approached them in two vehicles. During the altercation, the alleged offenders from inside each of the vehicles opened fire striking five people.

The first victim, a 37-year-old male, suffered a gunshot wound to his left arm. The second victim, a 29-year-old man, was shot to the right hip. A third victim, a 29-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the left leg. A fourth victim, a 26-year old woman, suffered wounds to the right forearm and leg.
