A FUMING customer claims he was scammed out of an eye-watering ￡324 after a light lunch at a restaurant in Mykonos.
The tourist detailed in a post on Reddit how they got ripped off at a venue in the tourist hotspot of Platys Gialos.

The venue is in the same location as DK Oyster Bar, a nortorious "rip-off restaurant" which was bombarded with negative reviews from furious diners who say they were scammed.
In this case, the customer explained in a Reddit post that he was looking for a spot on the beach when they were approached by the venue's waiter.
The staff member said the family could use the hotel's sun lounges on the condition that they purchased two drinks.
The customer agreed saying it was a seemingly fair deal but after a while, the waiter pestered them to place an order.

The diner claims when asked about the prices he avoided responding but reassured them that the prices were cheap.
He said: "In the process, he forced us to order milkshakes for our kids.
"As we’re sitting there for about an hour, we thought we might as well order some food which he recommended some calamari and on the menu, it said €19.
"He said it comes with a side salad and bread which I again asked is it a separate charge which he said No."

But the customer was left stunned when the bill arrived as he found the calamari was priced at €148 (￡126).

He continued: "When the bill came back I was appalled as the Calamari was €148, the milkshakes which we never wanted but were forced to order for our kids were €38 each and the salad and bread which we were told were free were €28 and 14.50 respectively."
After expressing his disappointment at the excessive prices, the customer claims he was met with hostility.
He claims the cashier tore off the receipt's top section which includes transaction details and says no signature was obtained after his credit card was charged the jaw-dropping amount of ￡324.
Redditors were quick to side with him and slam the restaurant for taking advantage of tourists.
One said: "Yep, never eat anywhere that had salesmen on the street. Good and honest restaurants don’t need those tactics."
Another commented: "Sorry you got ripped off and thanks for sharing. It’s always those 'free beach bed if you use the lounge' places from what I’ve seen.
"I don’t think there’s any recourse - you could try report it to the police, or maybe try challenge it with the credit card company."
Earlier this month a couple slammed the notorious notorious DK Oyster after claims they were charged ￡600 for two smoothies and a bowl of pasta.
