A WOMAN'S body has been found on the sand dunes near a caravan park in a popular seaside town.

       Cops confirmed the tragic discovery in Redcar, Yorkshire, last Monday.

       The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file has been prepared for the coroner.

       Eyewitnesses reported a cordon in the area at the time of the gruesome find, though it has now been taken down.

       A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "Officers were called to the sand dunes near the caravan park at Redcar on the evening of June 26 where very sadly a woman’s body had been discovered.

       "Her death is not being treated as suspicious and a file was prepared for the Coroner.
