A girl of 13 was allegedly raped and another sexually assaulted in one of Britain’s wealthiest towns.

       Four men - aged between 40 and 62 - were arrested over the alleged attack on the teenage schoolgirls in Weybridge, Surrey.

       Locals say the girls came across a group of men in a car park.

       The youngsters are said to have been found when a relative pinpointed their location from the GPS signal of a mobile phone after becoming concerned about them being late home.

       Police were called and arrested the four men on suspicion of rape and sexual assault by touching.

       They were later released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.

       The girls were taken to a rape counselling suite and interviewed by specially-trained sex crime investigators.

       A Surrey Police spokeswoman said: "We were called at 10.35pm on Saturday, 17 June following a report of a rape of a teenage girl by a male suspect and a sexual assault by touching of another teenage girl on Weystone Road, Weybridge.

       "A 53-year-old man, 62-year-old man, 49-year-old man and a 40-year-old-man have been arrested on suspicion of rape and sexual assault by touching as part of our enquiries.

       "They have all been released with bail conditions.’’

       Police scorched local rumours that the girls were victims of a trafficking or grooming gang.

       The police spokeswoman said: "At this time, we do not believe this incident to be linked with trafficking or grooming.

       "The two teenage girls are being supported by specialist teams, and the investigation is ongoing.’’

       One local source told The Sun: "The girls and their families are devastated.

       "Nobody can work out why the police are not issuing a public appeal for information about this.

       ‘"All we’ve heard is the girls came across four Eastern European men in a car park and were there a long time.

       "Eventually one of their relatives traced them using a mobile phone signal and the police were then called.’’

       Weybridge is in the heart of Surrey’s stockbroker belt and has the second highest number of millionaires of any town in Britain.
